This is the wrong reason to get into medicine.

I used to work for the family doctor equivalent of Ursula but I was indeed a poor unfortunate soul in those days. All the staff were. All of us ailing in utterly pathetic ways that meant we were bound in grateful servitude until the debt was paid!

I’ve lost my voice today, I wonder if she’ll give me something to help. It’d only take a quick phone call and I sure I could think of some way to repay her…
